What is a weblog?
Defined by wikipedia;
A blog is a website for which an individual or a group frequently generates text, photographs, video or audio files, and/or links, typically (but not always) on a daily basis. The term is a shortened form of weblog. Authoring a blog, maintaining a blog or adding an article to an existing blog is called "blogging". Individual articles on a blog are called "blog posts," "posts," or "entries". The person who posts these entries is called a "blogger".
About exBlogger
exBlogger.com is a blog hosting service provide specifically designed to suit the needs of teenagers and simple blogging concept. exBlogger.com was established on sometimes March year 2006 by a group of design students from Limkokwing University-College of Creative Technology.
Originally, the site was named WasBlog.com, which originated from one student work. Unfortunately, there was a fight for ownership of the hosting server, hence the site name eventually changed to another owner and domain. There was a calm period of a few months and finally the closure of WasBlog.com took place near the end of March. Shortly after, project exBlogger was formulated and research and development took place with a group of students.
exBlogger.com is still in its early development stages, however our main goal is to provide the common internet user to voice their opinion, log their life and to document their journeys. It is a simple goal, so we aim to provide a simple solution with a powerful output.
What makes exBlogger.com different than 'others'?
exBlogger.com was specifically designed to cater for our student and college, and is a Malaysia owned website. Our values are simple, provide a free blogging service to all internet users alike so that they can voice their opinion freely, log their life in a secure place as well as document their journeys around the world.
Our blogging system may be simple, however it is feature packed, no longer will you be restricted to plain old system generated templates, you will now have the power to change how you want your blog site to look like. After all, it is YOUR blog, so its your rules as well as your life. How many times have you seen that "fat man on a bike" but had forgotten to blog about it when you got home 5 hours later.
Another great feature is Photo Blogging, the ability to blog directly with a photo or a drawing of some sort without the need for text input. Like the old saying goes "A picture tells a thousand words" - Anon.
